Mr. Resnick's real estate career spans five decades. He is considered one of the most successful and recognized commercial brokers in the United States. His real estate activities began as a commercial broker with the Beverly Hills office of Coldwell Banker (now CBRE), where he spent eleven years as a producer consistently ranking in the top five percent of the organization. He holds the distinction of being Coldwell Banker's number one salesperson nationwide in 1982, achieving the highest gross sales and leasing commissions of over 4,000 brokers. During his tenure at Coldwell Banker, Mr. Resnick concluded many
prominent leasing and sales transactions including sales of the Century City Shopping Center (771,000 square foot regional mall) and 9560 Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills, California (110,000 square foot office building), and leasing of the 1,000,000 square foot Santa Monica Business Park.


After leaving Coldwell Banker in 1982, Mr. Resnick went into the real estate investment and development business as a partner in the development of two major high-rise office buildings in Los Angeles: the Westside Towers in West Los Angeles, and the International Tower in Downtown Los Angeles. Each project totals 400,000 square feet.


In 1983, Mr. Resnick formed Resnick, Steier and Company, a firm that acquired, renovated and operated properties ranging in value from $1 million to $10 million in the Southern California area. From 1983-1988, Resnick, Steier and Company acquired twenty-seven properties. From 1988-1990, Mr. Resnick was a major stockholder in the Trident Group, Inc. that acquired and developed properties in Southern California including the former Drexel Burnham Lambert Building (300,000 square feet) at 9560 Wilshire Boulevard, Beverly Hills and the Beverly Connection (250,000 square feet) at the southwest corner of Beverly Boulevard and La Cienega Boulevard, West Hollywood.


A 50 year veteran of greater Los Angeles' commercial real estate marketplace, Mr. Resnick has consummated over three billion dollars of transactions on office, retail, industrial and multi-family product.
